Terms & Conditions

A deposit of 70% is required to confirm your booking. The remaining balance must be paid at least 60 days before departure. Bookings made within 60 days of departure require full payment at the time of booking. Gorilla and chimpanzee trekking permits must be paid in full at the time of booking and are non-refundable.

We accept international bank transfers, credit/debit cards, mobile money and online payment gateways. Any bank charges, transfer fees or conversion costs are the responsibility of the client.

Cancellations made more than 60 days before departure: 80% of the deposit refunded. 30–59 days before departure: 50% of the deposit refunded. Less than 30 days before departure: no refund. No-shows: no refund. Gorilla and chimp permits are non-refundable under any circumstances.

Safari 2 Gorilla Tours reserves the right to adjust itineraries due to weather, park closures, safety conditions or force majeure events. We will always provide an equivalent alternative. Client-requested changes must be submitted in writing and any additional costs are payable by the client.

Comprehensive travel insurance is mandatory for all our tours. Your policy must cover medical evacuation, trip cancellation, personal theft and trip interruption. Proof of insurance must be provided before departure.

Clients are responsible for ensuring they are physically fit for their chosen activities and for obtaining all required vaccinations (including Yellow Fever, where applicable). Participation in all activities is at the client’s own risk.

Clients are solely responsible for obtaining valid passports, visas, permits and any other travel documents required for their chosen destinations. Safari 2 Gorilla Tours accepts no liability for issues arising from inadequate documentation.

Safari 2 Gorilla Tours is not liable for losses, injuries or damages resulting from events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, political unrest, strikes, flight cancellations or the acts and omissions of third-party suppliers.

Some activities are age-restricted. Gorilla trekking requires participants to be a minimum of 15 years old. Other age restrictions may apply depending on the activity and park regulations. Please confirm age requirements when booking.

Safari 2 Gorilla Tours may use photographs and videos taken during your tour for promotional purposes, including on our website and social media. If you do not consent to this, please notify us in writing before your departure.

These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Uganda. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Uganda.
